Miss Antietam aboard Engine 5306. Click on the MEDIA ITEMS below for more information

Miss Antietam, Julia Brandt, and her entourage stand on Engine 5306, the "President Van Buren", at the fairgrounds, part of the extravaganza at the celebration of Washington County and Hagerstown history.

In the Pageant B & O Railroad presented "Tom Thumb" and Directors' Car of 1829; the historic "Atlantic" locomotive of 1832 with two of the picturesque "Imlay" coaches; the "William Galloway" locomotive of 1837, and two flour-barrel cars of the period, trains which brought flour from Frederick; the cumbersome, though powerful, "Ross Winans" engine and two iron-pot hopper cars; the "William Mason" and yellow baggage and passenger cars that ran on the B & O during the Civil War period, the kind of train hauled by the same kind of engine, on which President Lincoln arrived in Washington for his first inauguration in 1861.
