* Would you like to attend the reunion at Sharpsburg on September 17th? …Yes. I would enjoy it but finances and health prohibit the trip
* What is the state of your health? …Fairly good at present
* Date of birth …Aug 17th, 1847 at Wheelersburg, Ohio. Left there when 2 years old
* Remarks…When I was 11 years old my parents moved from Ironton, Ohio to Sandoval, Ill in the wild and wooly west in later years to Terre Haute and after the war moved back to Sandoval Ill. March 2nd 1878 I enlisted in the regular army Cavalry Band at St Louis, Mo. Was discharged Dec. 5th 1879 on account sickness.
